Inspired by the Adriatic
Do you know that moment on the Adriatic when the wind suddenly falls silent, the waves disappear and the surface of the sea becomes still as a mirror? We call it bonaca.
It is a moment of perfect stillness. The world slows for an instant, nature takes a breath — and so do we. La Bonaca was born from that feeling, from a wish to bring a piece of Adriatic calm into everyday life.
The dragonfly
By the water we notice the dragonfly — light, almost silent, hovering between water and sky. It stands for lightness, balance and calm, and so it became the symbol of La Bonaca.
Handmade
Each piece is made and filled by hand from natural materials — silk, linen and carefully chosen fillings. Not another generic product from the web, but something made slowly, thoughtfully and by hand.
